VICTORIA & ALFRED WATERFRONT
The Victoria and Alfred Waterfront is relatively
close to the central business district of
Cape Town. The bright and airy glass-topped
mall is a stylish combination of upmarket
shopping, celebrated restaurants. It houses
the Agfa Amphitheatre (an intimate open-air
venue in the heart of the complex which
hosts a wide variety of entertainers), The
Two Oceans Aquarium, South African Maritime
Museum and Waterfront Craft Market. The
Mandela Gateway to Robben Island is situated
in the Clock Tower building where official
tours of Robben Island embark.

TWO OCEANS AQUARIUM
The Two Oceans Aquarium is one of the most
popular attractions at the Waterfront. It
is a marine wonderland with transparent
underwater tunnels, a touch pool and tanks
that hold a fascinating array of marine
life found along the Indian and Atlantic
Ocean coasts of Southern Africa. Displays
include a look at the ancient Coelacanth,
tropical fish, shark- and seal tank. A highlight

CAVENDISH SQUARE
Cavendish Square shopping mall is situated
in Claremont with Table Mountain and Kirstenbosch
Botanical Gardens not far away. It is a
worldclass shopping mall with well designed
stores and a good atmosphere that makes

is a complex crammed with upmarket outlets
ranging from jewelry and clothing through
to accessories boutiques.

Ratanga Junction is an entertainment theme
park and together with Canal Walk forms
part of the Century City complex. Ratanga

of theme restaurants and live entertainment
can be experienced and numerous beverage
and retail outlets are available.
